Antique Addiction

Spent a day antique hunting in the Rhinebeck area and purchased the modest trove of goodies in the photo. These include: A bound edition of a year’s worth of Flair, the finest magazine ever printed (more about Flair); a collection of antique shoe molds that make great bookcase accessories; an old costume jacket that I’ll cut up to make decorative pillows; an original etching by Marie Laurencin, and, peeking out from behind Flair, a pea pod salt and pepper shaker that I’ll add to a client’s growing collection. More important that what I purchased was the joy of spending the day reveling in my antique addiction with fellow interior designer and equally obsessed best buddy Ken.
