Filling the Empty Space II

When I first entered this empty space I pictured a traditional English dining room. Using the bow window as the focus of the interior design I started with simple panels featuring a pleated valance, framing the lush garden. The lines of the English double pedestal table with elegant Chippendale chairs also lead the eye to the rich foliage outside. The traditional feel is emphasized by Scalamandre paper and a display of antique white porcelain. The spread of petit fours, fresh fruit and double cream is a classically English dessert for a classically English themed dining room. For more photos of dining rooms, click here.
