A Green House I Could Love

Recycling is about the limit of my commitment to being green, but I would gladly call this earth-friendly residence my own. Thermal collectors provide hot water, solar power provides electricity, and the home actually adds juice to the grid when it produces more than it needs. The roof is literally green, planted with perennials that offer natural insulation and fire resistance. For me the dealmaker is that the home is beautiful, inside and out. Located on the spectacular Oregon coast. Designed by Nathan Good Architects.
